Kendrick Lamar set Twitter ablaze Tuesday when fans got a listen to his hot new song, which also features Big Sean and Jay Electron. He refers to himself as the “king of New York,” and whether people like it or not, they can’t stop talking about it.

Check out the bold rhyme below:

"I'm usually homeboys with the same n----s i'm rhymin with/ But this is hip-hop and them n----s should know what time it is/ And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale/ Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake/ Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller/ I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you n----s/ Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n----s/ They don't wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n---as.”

There were plenty of jokesters on the mini-blog, with some noting that Lamar missed calling out the girl from the Education Connection commercial, the CreditScore.com guy, Kevin G from the Lindsay Lohan hit “Mean Girls,” the Reese’s Puffs rapper, Pootie Tang, and even the rapping kids from the K-Mart commercials.

Another noteworthy omission, as stated by @Balangadang was Chief Keef: “Because we all kow what would happen if he did.”

While plenty were talking about #RappersKendrickDidntMention, others were taking notice to how Lamar still didn’t compare himself to Eminem. The “Loose Yourself” rapper is regarded by some as the best there ever was, so a comparison to Slim Shady naturally followed.

Lamar’s verse in “Control” even got a reaction from some of the best in rap game.

“If I can’t do no more nouns or verbs ima start comin with the wildest adjective bars that anyone has ever heard,” Mac Miller added.

“I hear u loud and clear my n***a… @kendricklamar” Pusha T tweeted at him.

“KENDRICK!!!!!” Diddy tweeted. ”Ohhhh Sh********t”

But not everyone was feeling his verse, Lupe Fiasco in particular. "Y'all know y'all easily impressed. Bar so low you need a shovel to get at it," he wrote from his private account, according to MTV News. Joe Budden added: "A Cali n---a just said he's the King of NY & u n---as so f---ing worried about your relationships, y'all make me sick," he said. "Where's old NY !???!"
