By now most people know that Kerry Washington is off the market now that she married San Francisco 49er Nnamdi Asomugha in June.

After a self-imposed Twitter break and some time away from the spotlight, Washington is back in full starlet mode. Still, no amount of nudging from reporters or Twitter fans has so far been able to get the actress to spill the beans on her life as a newlywed.

During a recent interview with People, Washington gushed about her first Emmy nomination, which she received for playing Olivia Pope in ABC's hit thriller "Scandal."

"I'm the luckiest broad in showbiz," Washington said. "I just feel really blessed and humbled and grateful for this nomination."

But when it came to the topic of of her marriage, Washington remained tight-lipped.

"I don't talk about my personal life in the press, but I will say I'm really happy," she said. "I'm blessed in all areas of my life."

This mirrors earlier statements she's made about the wedding. When congratulated by Entertainment Weekly on the nuptials, she offered a more curt reply.

"I thank you for your congratulations, and that is where that conversation will end," she said.

The happy couple were married in a June ceremony in Idaho.

Nnamdi signed with the San Francisco 49ers in April. Previous to joining the team, he spent eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders and then two more with the Philadelphia Eagles.
