Kevin Durant scored 39 points with 9 rebounds to help the Oklahoma Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzles 105-90 in deciding game 7 of their playoff series.

Russell Westbrook aided Oklahoma with 14 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds.

Durant overcame the pressure and led the Thunder past the surging Memphis Grizzlies, who beat San Antonio Spurs in the previous round.

The Thunder are the youngest team in the playoffs. They will meet the oldest team, the Dallas Mavericks, in the Western Conference Finals.

Memphis was only the fourth No. 8 seed to reach a Game 7, and it would have been the first to win one. Memphis had never won a playoff game before this year.

Mike Conley of Memphis scored 18 points while Zach Randolph scored 17 and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Game 1 between the Mavericks and Thunder will be held in Dallas on Tuesday, May 17 at 9 p.m. EDT.
