Caitlyn Jenner may no longer legally be a part of the Kardashian family, but that isn't stopping her from celebrating the holidays with her ex-wife Kris Jenner and stepchildren. During a recent appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" stepdaughter Khloé Kardashian opened up about her relationship with the former Olympian, revealing that she and her sisters would always look at her as their dad. The "Strong Looks Better Naked" author also discussed her family's holiday plans on the show.

As was reported by People magazine, Khloé, 31, will share with host Ellen DeGeneres that Caitlyn, 66, will definitely be spending Christmas with the Kardashians. In previews for the interview she says that despite her divorce from Kris, 60, Caitlyn is "still part of our family." Khloé will reveal that, while Caitlyn is "for sure" going to be celebrating Christmas with her ex and their six children they share, she is unable to attend the Kardashian's Thanksgiving dinner due to a scheduling conflict.

"She's still part of our family. It's still our Dad, we say, which I know is confusing to some people, but that's how we know her," she says. "And she's not gonna be with us on Thanksgiving because she's working, but she'll be with us for Christmas, for sure."

During the interview Khloé also will also discuss her initial struggle to come to terms with Caitlyn's transition. She explains to DeGeneres, 57, that the real issue she had was that Caitlyn wasn't being honest with her or her family about the transition. She says they confronted her several times about the rumors circulating claiming she was going to be transitioning from male to female and "he kept telling us one thing, but really he knew he was transitioning and wouldn't be honest." Khloé claims she has since come to terms with the fact that her stepdad is living publicly as a woman.

Khloé's issues with Caitlyn were first aired out on national television on the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" special "About Bruce." During the two-part show Khloé confronted Caitlyn, who was still going by Bruce at the time the show was filmed, about when she planned to make the transition official. She told her stepfather she didn't feel it was "fair" that she, along with her siblings and mother, were just learning about this important and life-changing decision so close to when it was happening. She eventually grew more comfortable with the idea and showed her acceptance by purchasing Caitlyn several pairs of high heels. The pair butted heads for a second time during "I Am Cait" and "KUWTK" Season 10 when Caitlyn's coming-out interview with Vanity Fair hit newsstands. Khloé felt that her stepfather had bad mouthed Kris and downplayed their many years of happy marriage in the interview. She sent several angry texts and even engaged in an explosive sit-down with Caitlyn before finally resolving things.
