Khloe Kardashian, French Montana Fake Relationship: 4 Famous Men Kris Jenner Could Have Paid To 'Date' Reality Star

Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with French Montana was all show for the cameras, and the rapper even got a paycheck for appearing on her E! reality show, according to recent reports. The two had been “dating” for several months, and though they may have split, Montana will still make appearances on her coming reality show “Khloe & Kourtney Take the Hamptons.”

While French Montana had a number of hit songs, including “Pop That,” and “Ain’t Worried About Nothin,” it's undeniable that being with Khloe raised his celebrity status. And he knows it. "I want to capitalize on it," he told Billboard magazine last month. "I'll get a fan base from everywhere."

Kris Jenner reportedly worked out a deal with Montana to have him on the show. “The way that the Kardashians’ [show] is set up is very unusual. It’s the only show that I know of where a producer can say, ‘Here’s the cast and this is what they’re getting paid,’” a source told the Daily News. “Usually to add a cast member to a show, you’d have to fire a cast member to keep the budget balanced. But in this case, Kris just offered French Montana a check to be in the show. He’s expensive, and some people at E! just don’t think he’s worth the money. I’ve heard execs moaning about it, saying, ‘We’re just paying so much for him!’"

"She’s shopping for Khloé’s next husband,” a source told InTouch last year. And she “has her eye” on 26-year-old Drake. “She thinks he’d be perfect for Khloé,” the insider continued. “Kris is sick of her daughters ending up with jerks.”

Alex Rodriguez

Baseball player Alex Rodriguez would be a good fit for Khloe, as he has an obvious liking for fellow celebrities. He previously dated Madonna, Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz. Though the Yankee’s third baseman is suspended for the entire 2014 season, that just provides a juicier storyline for the Kardashians and would give him more time to spend with Khloe and her family as they film their E! series.

Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband was an NBA player, so it would make sense for her to date another baller. Durant is one of the most popular NBA players at the moment and has no bad rumors swirling around him, which is just what Khloe needs after dealing with ex-husband Lamar Odom’s name constantly being in headlines last year over reported drug use and cheating. Like older sister Kim, Khloe has a thing for athletes, specifically basketball and football players. Before marrying Odom in 2009, she dated former NFL running back Derrick Ward while Kim was dating Reggie Bush.
