Khloé Kardashian is speaking out about little sister Kylie Jenner's controversial relationship with rapper Tyga. The pair have been linked since August 2014 when the "Hookah" rapper split from then-fiancée Blac Chyna. Many have taken issue with the relationship because of the 8-year age gap between Kylie and Tyga and the fact that, at just 17, she is still considered a minor.

In Complex magazine's August 2015 issue, Khloé opened up about her youngest sibling's relationship, saying Kylie is "not a normal 17-year-old." The 31-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star told the publication she was doing the same thing at her sisters age, adding that Kylie doesn't do average teenage things. Khloé said the unusual circumstances in Kylie's life have forced her to do a lot of growing up, making her much more mature than other kids her age. The "KUWTK" star added that, given her level of maturity, Kylie's relationship with Tyga should be treated "as a special case."

"I think at 16 I was probably f--king someone that was in their 20s, for sure. I wouldn't say I was even dating, probably just sleeping with them. But again Kylie is not a normal 17-year-old. you're not gonna say, 'Hey, so what are you doing this weekend?' and have her say, 'Having a slumber party at my girlfriend's,' or 'Going to prom.' That's not what Kylie does. Kylie is taking business meetings and bought her first house, or she's going on a private plane with Karl Lagerfeld to take a meeting. That's not even what people do in their 30s. It's a rare circumstance, so let's treat this as a special case."

This isn't the first time Khloé has spoken out in defense of her sister's relationship. In February she and Wiz Khalifa's ex-wife Amber Rose found themselves in the middle of a Twitter spat after Amber suggested Kylie and Tyga's relationship was inappropriate. The feud began after the Philadelphia native said in an interview with Power 105.1's "The Breakfast club" that Kylie was a "baby," who needed to "go to bed at 7 o'clock and relax." She added that the entire relationship was "ridiculous" and Tyga should be embarrassed at his actions.

Both Kylie and Tyga have tried numerous times to deny being romantically involved though it is undeniable that for "friends" the duo spends an awful lot of time together. Neither have commented on Khloé's most recent remarks.
