Kim Kardashian West is skipping her daily doughnut habit during her second pregnancy. The reality TV star is well known for her sexy, curvaceous figure. However, she struggled with her weight during her first pregnancy so she’s watching her diet this time around.

“With my first pregnancy I had a doughnut every morning. That’s not a good idea,” Kim told People. She was in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, attending the launch of Hype Energy Drinks. The expectant mom wasn’t showing a prominent baby bump yet, but she admits that she’s had to stop drinking the energy drink since she found out about her condition.

To stay fit, Kim used to get up around 5 a.m. every day to work out. Having an energy drink helped her get ready but now that she’s pregnant, she’s taking things slow and the rigorous workouts will have to wait. She’s decided instead to watch what she’s eating and choose more healthful options.

“I think you need to go with being tired, with what your body tells you, and rest when you need to,” she said. Right now, she explained that she’s at the stage when everything is making her sick. Kim is at the tail end of her first trimester, E! News reported. Her due date is said to be in December.

Once she gets over the morning sickness and other discomfort, Kim says that she wants to relax and enjoy her pregnancy. "Enjoyable" was certainly not a word she used for her first pregnancy with daughter North West, now 2 years old. Apart from the weight gain, she also had to deal with constant pain and more serious medical conditions like preeclampsia -- a dangerous condition characterized by high blood pressure.

Kim is also worried about her pregnancy style. She faced a lot of criticism during her first pregnancy. This time she’s worried about her shoes. She says that wearing heels is difficult during a pregnancy. She doesn’t like the way she looks in flats but she will need to work around the problem.

She told E! News that she still intends to keep working for the next few months. As her baby bump grows, her pregnancy style will most certainly evolve with it.
