Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appear to have a great relationship from the outside, but they constantly bicker over how to bring up their daughter North, insiders told Radar Online Wednesday. North, who is almost 2, rarely appears in pictures with her mother, but it’s not by Kardashian’s choice.
It’s no secret that West, 37, doesn’t want Nori, as she is nicknamed, to appear on the family reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” In fact, he doesn’t want her anywhere near them. “It’s the biggest parenting argument they have, and now it’s turned into war,” a source told Radar Online exclusively. “Kanye wants to keep North away from all screens -- cellphones, tablets and big TVs -- because he’s convinced the electronics are bad for her.”
Keeping North away from cameras is more than just protecting her privacy, as the rapper thinks they can cause her physical harm, too. “He even insists everyone leave their phones at the door when entering the nursery!” the insider said.
What does mama Kardashian think about this? The queen of reality television just released a book called “Selfish,” which is entirely comprised of selfies. Not surprisingly, she doesn’t believe the pictures are harmful to herself or her daughter and it’s a major point of contention for the couple. “Kanye does not like it when Kim encourages North with selfies. … He hit the roof when she boasted about it online. It totally undermines him.” The insider added: “Kim thinks [the threat of radiation is] total rubbish and has spent hours digging up links that prove it’s not true.”
Kardashian, 34, recently faced rumors that she was pregnant with baby No. 2. But the starlet has not addressed the pregnancy gossip. Instead, she posted a picture -- not a selfie -- of her airport style.
