Early Thursday morning, model Kendall Jenner celebrated her 21st birthday with friends and family at the Los Angeles restaurant Delilah.

While expected guests such as sister Kylie Jenner, mom Kris Jenner and dad Caitlyn Jenner showed up, it was big sister Kim Kardashian’s appearance that surprised many. Since being robbed in Paris in October, Kim has kept a low-profile and has avoided the spotlight.

According to sources for People, Kim and husband Kanye West arrived at the venue together just before midnight. “They were very chill all night,” said People’s source. “Kim got on the mic at one point and said something funny and that was about it. She seemed pretty upbeat.”

While much of the Kardashian family and friends appeared in pictures and videos on social media from the event, Kim was not seen in any of the footage.

The source said the Kardashian-Jenner family gathered around Kylie’s table, which was in front of the DJ booth. Once the clock struck midnight, Kris and Kim led a “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long, presenting Kendall with her cake which featured a childhood photo of her.

Other guests in attendance included Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Tyga and Scott Disick. One family member who did not show up to the party was Kendall’s brother Rob Kardashian and his fiancée Blac Chyna. To their defense, the couple is expecting the birth of their child any day.

Although Kim wasn’t seen in any photos from Kendall’s party, she was recently spotted at Kanye’s Nov. 1 concert when her and Kanye took a photo with Cameron Sterling, the son of the late Alton Sterling.

Since the incident in Paris, Kim’s always-active Instagram hasn’t been updated in four weeks. The last photos posted on her account were of her in Paris.
