Looks like Kim Kardashian will have a royal themed wedding when she ties the knot later this month. Sort of.

The reality TV star apparently has her eyes set on a cake similar to the one cut by Prince William and Kate Middleton four months ago. Kardashian and her fiancé, NBA player Kris Humphries, recently paid a special visit to Hansen's Cakes in Los Angeles, where they dropped close to $20,000 on cake expenses, Us Weekly reports.

Fans of Kardashian's hit show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" will also get to watch the wedding on television - two months after the pair's nuptials.

"Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" will air on E! in a two-part, two-night special on Oct. 9, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kardashian, 30, recently announced on her blog that her wedding dress will be designed by Vera Wang.

"Vera has been a close family friend for a long time . . . she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does! I know that Vera can make my dream come true and create the most perfect gown for my special day," Kardashian wrote.

With the televised wedding special, Kardashian follows the footsteps of her sister Khloe, who aired her wedding to L.A. Lakers star Lamar Odom, also in a 2-hour, E! special.

Kardashian will be featured in an upcoming issue of "World's Most Beautiful," a 3-D magazine spread shot by celebrity photographer Nick Saglimbeni. The world's first 3-D magazine was shot in the "screen-and-page-transcending format," reports E!

Kardashian is set to marry Humphries on Aug. 20.
