Kim Richards is sober and feeling better than ever -- at least, that's what she told fans during a recent appearance on "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered." It's been a rough couple of months for the former star of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" who has been arrested twice and in and out of rehab three times since April. However, several months have come and gone without any trouble for Richards, 52, and she's ready to put the past behind her.

As was reported by E! Online, while appearing on the popular podcast, hosted by fellow former "RHOBH" star Brandi Glanville, Richards assured viewers that everything was going well for her. She said she hit a bit of a rough patch, referring to her previous run-ins with the law, but claimed things had taken a positive turn. She and Brandi, 42, both conceded that life was much more "relaxing" now that they weren't filming "RHOBH." Kim told listeners she was using her newfound free time to focus "on my family and me," adding that things were falling into place.

"Living in the present for me is just the best way and it's the only way for me today," Richards said. "Realizing today is beautiful and I'm super grateful for right now and all who's in it."

Kim's younger sister Kyle Richards, who also starred with her on "RHOBH," recently opened up about her sibling's sobriety. While walking the red carpet at the Global Lyme Alliance inaugural gala in New York City Oct. 9, Kyle, 46, told People magazine her sister was "doing really well." She attended the event with Yolanda Foster, a close friend and former co-star of Kim's, and "RHOBH" newcomers Kathryn Edwards and Erika Jayne.

Filming for "RHOBH" is currently underway. It remains unclear when Season 6 wil premiere on Bravo.
