It didn’t feel right for “The Kingsman” to continue on with Colin Firth’s Harry Hart, and it seemed like the people behind the franchise felt the same way.

In the newly-released trailer for “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” Hart is back from the dead - casually shaving his beard as Taron Egerton’s Eggsy and Mark Strong’s Merlin looked at him in shock. “Oh my God. Harry,” said Merlin.

The trailer also introduced several interesting new characters played by Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Sir Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.

As for the synopsis, it’s quite action-packed as well, given the introduction of another secret service agency in a different country. It reads: “In ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle,’ our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the U.S. called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.”

Earlier, comic book writer Mark Millar stressed the need to give depth to the story when it comes to resurrecting Hart from the dead. Millar refused to come up with a flimsy reason for him to return, but they are all determined to make it happen.

“If you are bringing him back, it has to make sense,” Millar told IGN. “Some things have to be worked out, some decisions have still to be made and everything, so it's all fairly amorphous, but all going well.”

“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” will be released on Sept. 22.
