The New Zealand dollar declined against major currencies in early Asian deals on Wednesday. The kiwi ticked up against other major opponents in yesterday's New York afternoon session and hit multi-day highs of 0.5735 against the US dollar and 56.78 against the yen. Thereafter, the NZ dollar reversed its direction and currently, trading near 0.5605 against the greenback and 55.51 versus the yen.

The kiwi also plunged against the Australian dollar and the euro in early Asian session and as of now worth 1.2363 and 2.3675, respectively.
