This Knicks-Heat matchup is a tight one folks.

Despite the Knicks having turned the ball over a total of 15 times, they are luckily only down four in what could potentially be a preview to an Eastern Conference final duel. Jeremy Lin and Amare Stoudemire are the main culprits, each with six turnovers.

As a result of the Knicks giving it up, the Heat have been able to take more shots and capitalize in a timely fashion. They are shooting 48 percent from the field on 21 of 44 attempts. James leads the Heat with 12 points, while Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Mario Chalmers all have eight.

Stoudemire leads the Knicks with 11 while Jeremy Lin has seemed uncharacteristic and tired from all the Lin-sanity with only two points, two rebounds and two assists. Carmelo Anthony, who has historically played well against the Heat, has nine points.and a team high five rebounds.

The Heat continue to play great perimeter defense, having collectively recorded seven blocked shots, as opposed to two from the Knicks. The Knicks on the other hand have played enough defense not to let the game get too out of hand, though. However, a mor energetic and hard-fought defensive effort can put them over the top by game's end.
