After over a year of rumors and speculation, it appears that Kobe Bryant will not be getting a divorce.

The New York Daily News reports that Kobe and his wife Vanessa have decided to stay together and will not separate. Vanessa Bryant announced the news on Instagram on Friday.

"We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled,” said Kobe’s wife. "Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together."

Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in December 2011, citing irreconcilable differences. TMZ reported that Vanessa had enough of her husband’s cheating ways.

"She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough," a source told TMZ when news first broke in 2011. "This one is the straw that broke the camel's back."

The Los Angeles Lakers star first admitted to being unfaithful in 2003. He was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Colorado hotel room, and though the charges were eventually dropped, he admitted to having a sexual relationship with his accuser.

The couple made several public appearances together in recent months. They were spotted attending the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief, and seen celebrating New Year’s Eve together.

Before his game with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, Kobe also took to social media to speak on the couple’s decision.

"I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family,” the NBA star said on his Facebook page. When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers! Much luv, Mamba out."
