Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian’s recent sightings point to the possibility that she may be lawyering up in the wake of her split from Scott Disick. The mother of three was spotted visiting a Los Angeles office building full of legal offices on Monday, which sparked speculation that she may be seeking legal counsel to settle custody issues and financial matters with her boyfriend of almost a decade.

According to a report by showbiz website TMZ, the 36-year-old reality star was seen entering an office building that houses the offices of several law firms. One of those in the building is celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.

Wasser is no stranger to the Kardashian family after having been involved in Kim and Khloe Kardashian’s previous marriages. While it isn’t confirmed which office Kourtney visited in the Century City office building, Wasser is on top of the list of candidates.

While Kourtney and Scott were never married, they do have three children together: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3 and Reign, 7 months. At the moment, the children live with Kourtney in a sprawling Calabasas mansion that the couple shared until their breakup earlier this month.

Apart from the kids, they also have properties and other assets to share. It is unclear how they divided the purchase of the Calabasas mansion as well as a Beverly Hills investment property that has now turned into Scott’s bachelor pad.

A Splash News video shared by the Huffington Post speculates that the pair may have joint bank accounts and both their names on the titles to their properties. There would also be a need to figure out a child support settlement.

While Kourtney could be positioning herself for an impending legal battle, her sister Khloe has finally settled hers. Last week, she and Lamar Odom officially finalized their divorce. Lamar finally agreed to sign the divorce papers nearly two years after Khloe filed them in December 2013. The pair were married for four years, but Khloe filed for divorce, accusing Lamar of substance abuse and infidelity.
