It’s no secret that Kris Jenner likes to be in control, but just how far will she take it? Now it's reported that the Kardashian momager used her power at E! to keep certain people from appearing in the coming two-part special, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce.”

The New York Daily News reports that Kris blocked her ex-stepsons Brandon and Brody Jenner from appearing in the show, which will center on their father’s transition from male to female. The paper claims the 59-year-old “pulled the plug” on both interviews as she did not want the focus to shift from her famous family to theirs.

“She didn’t want them on the show. It was a huge deal,” a source said. “Kris runs the show. She wants it to be about her family and not the other kids.”

It is believed those shooting dates were not rescheduled, meaning the Jenner sons will be absent from the show completely. The special will instead tell the story of Bruce’s transition from the perspective of the Kardashian women, including his two biological daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and three stepdaughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian. Rob Kardashian will also be absent from the show.

Although his elder children will not appear in the E! special, they were featured in “Bruce Jenner: The Interview,” which aired on April 24. All four of them sat down with host Diane Sawyer to discuss their father’s transition from its earliest stages to date. Sawyer pointed out at one point during the interview that, while Jenner's first two ex-wives and some of the other Kardashians submitted supportive statements to be featured on the show, Kris declined to comment. Sources claim she was “uncomfortable” with the fact that she had “no input” into the running of the interview, so she chose not to be featured in any capacity.

“KUWTK: About Bruce,” which is premiering just over three weeks after the tell-all interview, is being described as an “honest, raw, emotional ... unfiltered exclusive.” The first official trailer shows private footage, shot at various points in each of the Kardashian and Jenner girls' childhoods, playing over audio clips discussing his new journey.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce” airs Sunday and Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on E! Check out the trailer below.
