Kristen Stewart - $34.5 million http://www.news.com.au/enterta

Kristen Stewart's hiding is almost over, as her new movie "On The Road" nears its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. In the film, based on the legendary book by Jack Kerouac, Stewart portrays Marylou, the 16-year old wife of one of the main characters. Stewart appears topless in the film, as many fans surmised when they saw her topless from behind in the movie trailer.

The character of Marylou is wed to Dean Moriarty, the freewheeling lead of the story. Moriarty is joined on a cross-country trip with his friend Sal Paradise, the narrator of the book. Hollywood Life reports that as Marylou, Stewart had no qualms about appearing nude or having a kind of threesome in the movie.

"I wanted to do [the scene]," Stewart said. "I love pushing. I love scaring myself. I've always wanted to get as close to an experience as I could."

Hollywood Life wrote that Marylou "performs sexual favors for both Dean and Sal simultaneously. The camera flashes to both a front and back view, and shows a truck veering off the side of the road while he witnesses what is happening."

Yahoo reports that the film's premiere at Cannes was met with mixed reviews, in part because of the stature the book still holds in the literary world and also because Stewart is known more for her life in the tabloids than as an actress. After rising to prominence while dating "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson, Stewart was caught cheating on him with Ruypert Sanders, the director of "Snow White and the Huntsman."

While Pattinson has since emerged from his self-imposed exile to promote his movie "Cosmopolis" and appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Stewart has done no such thing. While Pattinson hid from the media at Reese Witherspoon's ranch, Stewart has stayed with friend Scout Taylor-Compton in Burbank, Calif., and at her parent's home in Los Angeles.

Before the affair with Sanders was revealed -- and photographed by the paparazzi -- Pattinson and Stewart dated for three years.
