Kristen Stewart appeared on Today this morning to promote Snow White and the Huntsman and set the record straight on her reported beef with The Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence. Since the adaptation of the Suzane Collins novel began filming, the media has created a rivarly between J-Law and K-Stew. Yet based on Stewart's statement's in the interview, which also featured Charlize Theron, she has no issue with the land of Panem! She even gave her opinion on what the actors in the film have to face as emerging superstars. Stewart's role in Twilight led to a pressure filled rise to fame and Lauer asked the starlet what The Hunger Games cast has in store.

It gets very crazy and everyone instantly, the question is 'Are you going to be able to handle it? Is this something you want?' But you look at those actors and you kind of can tell why they're doing what they're doing, and it's so obvious that no one signed on to the project to do the next big thing. And I think that's the coolest way to see something get big and, you know, hopefully would love them to be happy in doing what they're doing.

She then added: I can't wait to see the movie. Hooray! All is well in the world of young adult fanfare.

Though her statements are encouraging, it won't stop the endless comparisons between the two franchises.Everything from pre-sale numbers to critical reception are aligned. Yet a more acceptable comparison would be Katniss vs. Stewart's fierce new take on Snow White. After all, they both train to become warriors and learn to fight for their survival. It may even be argued that The Hunger Games and the latest Twilight film are actually allied projects. The trailer for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 will appear before showings of the post apocalyptic action flick! As if we needed another reason to head to the theater on March 23rd.
