Kylie Jenner may look flawless at all times, but even she has a few imperfections. The teenage star of E!'s hit series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" took to Instagram to embrace that fact Wednesday.

As People magazine reported, Jenner, 18, shared a photo of herself sitting alongside close friend Anastasia Karanikolaou on an unmade bed wearing head-to-toe matching outfits. The image also showcases something about Jenner that often goes overlooked: the large scar on her left thigh. Fans immediately began asking questions about the mark, prompting Jenner to respond with a photo of just the scar. "I love my scar," Kylie wrote, offering no explanation as to how she got it. The Daily Mail reports Jenner got the scar years ago during a game of hide and seek with older sister Kendall Jenner.

Although this is just one of a handful of times Jenner has made mention of the scar, it's not the first time she's embraced her imperfections on Instagram. For months, the beauty mogul has been running a social media campaign in which she highlights the stories of people struggling with various health issues that cause them to look and/or act different from the societal norm. Jenner has done this in an effort to put an end to bullying.

Amid her anti-bullying campaign, Jenner found herself under fire from all directions after posing in a wheelchair for the cover of Interview magazine this month. Enraged social media users bashed the star for using the device as a prop, calling it "offensive and disgusting."
