“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner has made a fortune out of her lip kits, and it’s all thanks to the obsession she has with her own lips. Jenner used to have thin lips, and was even criticized by a former beau about them. Due to this, Jenner got lip injections and set out to create the perfect lip products.

“I was obsessed with lips, in general, and making my lips bigger before I got my lips injected,” Kylie said in a new series called “Woman Made” for VIOLET GREY.

“I always knew I wanted to create my own lipstick. I said, ‘We need to trademark Kylie Lip Kit’ - that was what I wanted to call it,” she continued.

Jenner’s idea was pretty basic, but it answered the needs of most girls so it was brilliant in its simplicity. “Usually, when girls do their lipstick, they use a lip liner and a lipstick, and they never have a match,” she explained. “So I just created a perfect match, because that's what I’ve always wanted.”

Jenner’s lip kits are beloved by ladies young and old, and even “Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra is a huge fan. Chopra gushed about her love for the reality star’s highly coveted lip kits during an interview with People Style. “I absolutely love her colors,” said Chopra. “I think it’s amazing, she’s such a young entrepreneur and has an amazing line of lip shades which work for a huge number girls, which is great.”

Jenner’s cosmetics line is so popular that it even inspired some copycats. Jenner earlier warned her fans not to patronize these products because these are dangerous to use.

“I’ve come across this website called kyliecosmeticsoutlet.com. It looks exactly like mine, but it’s not. I want to be really, really clear and let you guys know that the only place to get my products is kyliecosmetics.com,” Jenner said in a video posted on her social media page. “Everywhere else is fake.”
