At least La La Anthony has a good sense of humor.

The reality TV star and wife to New York Knick Carmelo Anthony took to Twitter Friday with her take on the Honey Nut Cheerio controversy that engulfed the Internet for the last week.

La La Anthony tweeted: “Not for nothing, but we ALL deserve a check or some free cereal 4all the publicity we've given Honey Nut Cheerios! LOL #cantbelieveeverything”

Carmelo Anthony and Boston Celtics power forward Kevin Garnett got into a heated exchange during the Knicks 102-96 loss Monday, and reportedly it was over Garnett telling Carmelo Anthony that his wife “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios”.

Though that has not been confirmed, whatever was said spurred a rage in Anthony, and prompted him to stand out side the Celtics locker room and team bus after the loss. The outburst prompted a one-game suspension from the league.

Carmelo Anthony has since said publicly that he and Garnett have spoken, while Boston head coach Doc Rivers defended Garnett Thursday.

"Well, number one, I know what's been reported did not happen," Rivers said to Boston radio station WEEI . "I know that as a fact."

Rivers went on to say: "Guys, you know how this works. A guy does something crazy like Carmelo did, and the way to get out of trouble is to say, 'Well, he said this.' It happens all the time, and, what bugs me about this whole thing is this is not a Kevin Garnett issue. And it was made into one, and it shouldn't have been made into one."

The whole incident also sparked rumors that the Anthonys are estranged, with the New York Post reporting that La La is living in Los Angeles and hitting up clubs to Carmelo’s disapproval.
