Pop queen Lady Gaga seems to be the most popular celeb on social networking sites like Twitter, Google+ and Facebook.

Gaga topped the most followed person on Twitter with 20 million people following her on the micro-blogging site.

Even though the account is majorly operated and updated by her management team, it still manages to top twitter charts with maximum fans.

Apparently, Gaga has even passed Britney Spears (13.5 million folowers), Justin Bieber (18 million), Katy Perry (15.7 million), Shakira (14.5 million), Rihanna (14.4 million), who also made it to the list of top five.

“Mother Monster” Lady Gaga’s popularity suddenly climbed last year during the release of her much touted new single 'You And I’ in which she appeared as her alter ego image Joe Calderone.

The singer joined Twitter on March 26, 2008, and approximately after four years from then, her @ladygaga account boosts around 20,236,553 followers.
