Pop music is all about pushing the boundaries. So much so, that many artists seem to challenge one another in just how racy their performances can get. In the 1980s, Madonna broke the mold with cone shaped bras and barely-there stage costumes. But nowadays, the contenders for her throne seem to surpass anything the Material Girl could have dared.

Lately, everyone from Miley Cyrus to Rihanna is wearing as little as possible to attract the most attention. But perhaps the most attention-grabbing songstress of our generation remains Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga has donned everything from an erotic nun costume, to her own male doppelganger. This weekend, Gaga has pushed the boundaries more than ever before while going completely naked during a performance.

According to Fox News, Lady Gaga performed a surprise set at London nightclub G-A-Y, where she sang “Venus” from her coming album "ArtPop." Mother Monster started the performance dressed up as a ghost, but quickly stripped down to her birthday suit.

According to Fox, after the show, comedian Matt Lucas tweeted “Just saw Lady Gaga do a surprise set at G-A-Y … All agreed it was impressive but we’re staying gay.” Although Gaga is known for her risqué performances, perhaps going fully naked was a bit too far. Once you bare it all, is there anywhere else to go?
