Khloé Kardashian’s feud with Lamar Odom’s family seems to be heating up as they are determined not to invite the reality TV star to a surprise party planned for Odom at the hospital. According to Hollywood Life, Odom’s family plans to throw a special Turkey Day dinner for Thanksgiving without his estranged wife.

Kardashian, who dismissed her divorce with Odom due to his medical condition, spent nearly a month next to Odom’s bedside since he was hospitalized after being found unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas on Oct. 13. He is said to have overdosed on cocaine and other drugs. The 36-year-old, who has previously battled addiction, is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“They’re planning a special Thanksgiving dinner at the hospital,” a source close to Odom told Hollywood Life. “They’re determined to make this happen no matter what anyone says, including Khloe. She’s not even welcome. His kids will be in L.A. as they have a break from school for the holiday and they want to see their father.”

According to previous reports, Odom’s family does not want Kardashian to make medical decisions for Odom. They reportedly fear that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star’s closeness with the former Los Angeles Lakers player is making it hard for his kids to spend time with him. According to reports, Odom’s children -- Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13 -- were not allowed immediate access to their father, for which his family blames Kardashian.

On Monday, Kardashian, who is now dating Houston Rockets player James Harden, opened up about her concern for Odom, during the daytime talk show "Ellen."

“I love him and I always will,” she told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. “He’s a fantastic person who deserves support and love and for someone to be by his side, and for me I’m that to him. Thank God I have a fantastic family who loves me and loves him just as much,” Kardashian added. “They’re so supportive and they’re with me and I have a great boyfriend who’s understanding.”

Kardashian also said that Odom has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

"We tell him he had a brain injury," Kardashian said, in the interview aired Monday. "I can't tell him how that brain injury was caused because it will set him back. He's really confused a lot, so we have to remind him. Every day is different."

Kardashian reportedly said that Odom continues to have trouble speaking but is "learning how to walk again and feed himself again, put sentences together."

Meanwhile, also on Monday, a prosecutor said her office is considering felony drug charges against Odom after he tested positive to having cocaine in his system the day he was found unconscious in Nevada.

"The Nye County Sheriff's Office has now asked the Nye County District Attorney's Office to review a request for prosecution against Lamar Odom for Use of, or Under the Influence of, a Controlled Substance," Nye County District Attorney Angela A. Bello told People magazine, in a statement. "The D.A.'s office will take the time needed to appropriately review that request, along with all evidence that might support that request, in order to reach a just conclusion regarding whether to advance charges.”
