Tuesday, Latvia's central bank revealed in a report that the current account surplus stood at LVL 0.7 million in February, up from LVL 0.5 million surplus in the previous month. A year ago, the current account deficit was LVL 183.4 million.

In February, the capital account surplus increased to LVL 88.6 million from LVL 0.4 million deficit in the previous month.

The financial account showed a deficit of LVL 122.5 million in February, compared to the LVL 79.7 million surplus in January.
