Tuesday, the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia announced that the industrial production dropped a seasonally adjusted 0.8% month-on-month in March, after falling 0.5% in February. Meanwhile, manufacturing output fell 0.7%.

Year-on-year, industrial production dipped a working day adjusted 23.4% in March, compared to the 24.2% fall in the previous month.

At the same time, manufacturing production plunged 26.6%, while mining and quarrying production grew 25%. Electricity and gas supply production was down 14.1%.
