Producer prices in Latvia rose 1.5% year-on-year in March, at a much slower pace than the 3.9% rise in February, the country's Central Statistics Bureau said Thursday.

During the month, producer prices climbed 7.5% in the domestic market, but fell 8% in the export market.

On a monthly basis, producer prices declined 1.6% in March compared to a 1.4% fall in the preceding month.

In the first quarter, producer prices slipped 3% from the fourth quarter, but rose 4.2% compared with the previous year.
