Lea Michele is allegedly eager to start a family with her “Glee” co-star and boyfriend, Cory Monteith, once he gets out of rehab, according to sources close to the actress.

According to Hollywood Life, Michele is raving to friends about what a great parent Monteith would make despite his current stint in rehab for substance abuse issues.

“Not only does Lea want Cory to get better for his personal well-being, she also wants to get pregnant and she thinks that Cory is the one and would be a wonderful father,” a source close to Michele told the online publication. “And the sooner he is better, the sooner they can start a family!”

The source also added in an interview with InTouch that Michele had been the driving force behind Monteith’s decision to enter rehab. “She’s very much the engine in the relationship,” the source said. ”She’s been worried about him for a long time. She was the one who suggested he try rehab to get a handle on things.”

Shortly after Monteith announced his trip to rehab, Michele issued a statement of support, saying, "I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision."

Michele, 26, gushed in a January issue of Marie Claire about her relationship with Monteith, 30, whom she met on the set of “Glee” for the first time in 2009.

“I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend,” Michele said. “No one knows me better than Cory. He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

She added that having a professional relationship with Monteith has helped her work better as well. “I love working with Cory, I always have,” she told People. “He really, really inspires me, and he motivates me and I think he's just so talented. Working with him has been one of the best experiences of this whole process.”

The couple’s cast mates have also been supportive of the off-screen romance.

“Before a scene they have been seen saying, ‘I love you! Good Luck!’ and then at the end of the shooting day they have been seen saying, ‘I love you’ and embracing or kissing before leaving set,” a source close to the “Glee” set told the publication back in April. “Everyone on set is really happy with what they are seeing with the relationship.”
