Coworkers and friends of  “Glee” star Cory Monteith took to Twitter to remember the actor on the one-year anniversary of his death. Monteith, 31, died on July 13, 2013, of an accidental drug overdose in a Vancouver hotel room. 

Monteith’s "Glee" cast members have shared how much they miss Monteith with their Twitter followers:

Jenna Ushkowitz chose to express her feelings in more than 140 characters on Instagram.

Even those who work behind the scenes have been vocal on Twitter today. Showrunner Ryan Murphy, producer Alex Anders, choreographer Brooke Lipton and director of photography Joaquin Sedillo shared their feelings. 

Fans also took to Twitter to memorialize Monteith. The hashtag #1YearWithoutCory trended worldwide. The tag is filled with thousands of posts like this:
