Glee star Lea Michele has been signed on to sing at the Super Bowl on February 6. She will sing 'America the Beautiful' before the NFL showpiece game on February 6 in Arlington, Texas.

The list of celebrities to perform at the Super Bowl is growing with every passing day. Christina Aguilera is set to perform the National Anthem ahead of the match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. and the Black Eyed Peas will perform at half time.

The 24-year-old star joins Faith Hill, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Marc Anthony, Ray Charles and Vicki Carr , all artists who have performed 'America the Beautiful' before her.

After the Super Bowl series Glee is all set to air a special episode based on Michael Jackson’s 'Thriller'. It is supposed to be the most expensive episode of Glee till date.
Chris Colfer, who recently won a Golden Globe for his performance on the show , said about the episode to Access Hollywood that the performances in it moved him to tears.
