Riot Games, developer of the popular online game "League of Legends," has released the patch notes for version 3.7. The changes will include the creation of custom pregame item sets, changes to champions including Caitlyn, Nunu and more.

Once the "League Of Legends" 3.7 patch hits, players will be able to browse through the item shop in the pregame interface to create item sets. Once you create an item set and apply a champion and a map to it, the item set will show up in the Recommended tab when you open up the item shop with the appropriate champion and on the map you associated with it.

"League of Legends" users can associate one item set with multiple champions and maps. This is designed to save players time, allowing them to quickly buy their preferred gear when they're at the item shop instead of forcing them to navigate through multiple item menus. This way, you can get back to the battlefield quicker, and who doesn't want that? After all, it's better to slay than to shop.

Caitlyn, the ranged attack damage carry, got her base attack speed nerfed (from 0.668 to 0.625), but her attack speed per level slightly buffed from 3 percent to 4 percent. Also, she won't be able to accumulate stacks toward her Headshot passive by attacking structures any longer, making it less harrowing for oncoming defenders to approach her, which we think is fair. We're not sure what to make of the changes to her attack speed, but at least her auto-attack range wasn't touched.

Nunu's Consume ability gets a lot of attention in this patch. The damage per level was increased (from 500/600/700/800/900 to 600/700/800/900/1000), but the amount of healing per level was decreased from 125/180/235/290/345 to 90/130/170/210/250. We're usually unsure what effects Riot's changes will have on a game whenever they make attempts at balance due to the endless permutations of in-game variables one can come across. Riot's success at play-balancing is consistently debated within the "League of Legends" community.

In the "League of Legends" patch preview video, Nunu is referred to as a very tough top laner in Summoner's Rift to fight against. To that we say exercise patience by last-hitting minions and coordinate with your jungler for good ganks. Engaging a Nunu during the lane phase might be tough, but who says you need to in the first place? Just get your minion kills up, and you'll be fine for the long run.

What do you think of the changes coming in the "League of Legends" 3.7 patch? Are you looking forward to using custom item sets? What do you want to see Riot do in future patches? Sound off in the comments below.
