The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that actress Leah Remini is leaving the Church of Scientology. Reuters

Leah Remini has finally spoken up about why she and fellow host Holly Robinson Peete left The Talk and is putting the blame on Sharon Osbourne amidst a nasty Twitter feud with the wife of Ozzy Osbourne.

Sharon thought me and Holly were 'ghetto'. . . we were not funny, awkward and didn't know ourselves, 41-year-old Remini tweeted on Monday. She has the power that was given to her.

Naturally, Osbourne, 59, took to Twitter to dispel the rumors and fire one back at Remini.

In response to Leah Remini's continuous comments that I had her fired from The Talk, let me just go on the record to say I had absolutely nothing to do with her departure from the show and have no idea why she continues to take to Twitter to spread this false gossip, Osbourne tweeted on Tuesday.

The battle of words comes seven months after Remini and Robinson Peete left CBS talk show, The Talk, in August.

Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show, Osbourne tweeted after. That being said, my only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional and childish behavior. It's been seven months. . .it's time to move on. Leah is a very talented actress and I only wish her happiness and success.

I know that better things are to come if she can just get beyond all this negativity.

And the feud did not just end there. Remini tweeted back on Wednesday, arguing that Osbourne just wants publicity out of this.

If someone wants me to stop, they should call a lawyer and tell them what I am NOT telling the truth about, Remini said. We can go from there.

Remini received a flood of tweeted from fans lending her their support on Wednesday evening as the fight came to a hault.

mammas they (the press) may continue to scrutinize your timeline and print your tweets...those jerkos don't deserve your time, tweeted user tweetsbydebbie, to which Remini responded: i know baby,. anyway. we are moving on.
