Leaked images of Motorola’s upcoming smartphone Droid Bionic suggest that the device may arrive with a modified 4.5-inch display.

The new leaked images show the device as an upcoming Verizon 4G smartphone. Any confirmed specification is yet to be revealed.

The Droid Bionic was previously rumored to arrive with a 4.3-inch display which made it same in comparison to Samsung Droid Charge. If the 4.5-inch is true then the smartphone will even be larger than the new Samsung Galaxy S2, according to a Droid Life report.

The Droid Bionic with 4.5-inch display, which is scheduled for a September 2011 release, sports a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, ULP GeForce GPU, Tegra 2 AP20H chipset, an 8MP dual-LED camera with 720p HD video capture, and video calling via front-facing camera. The smartphone has a 512 MB RAM, 2 GB ROM, 16 GB storage, Bluetooth version 2.1 with A2DP and EDR.

The smartphone will run on Android 2.2 (Froyo) which can upgraded to Gingerbread, and has a microUSB v2.0.
