All eyes will be on Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James Tuesday night, when he leads an injury-riddled roster in a bid to stave off elimination against the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the 2015 NBA Finals. James’ on-court exploits have drawn endless scrutiny throughout the 2015 NBA Playoffs, but the 30-year-old star has also provided the public with an endless stream of quotable material away from the court since May.

Regardless of whether or not the Cavaliers manage to extend the NBA Finals to a seventh game with a win in Cleveland Tuesday night, James has had one of the most impressive playoff runs in NBA history. In 19 postseason games, he’s averaged nearly 30 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists per contest to lead the Cavaliers to a championship berth despite injuries to star point guard Kyrie Irving and forward Kevin Love. James’ play has been so impressive that some have suggested he could win the 2015 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award even if the Warriors win the series. Here’s a look back at seven of James’ best quotes during the Cavaliers’ run to the 2015 NBA Finals:

“To be honest, the play that was drawn up, I scratched it. I just told coach, ‘Give me the ball.’ We’re either going to go to overtime or I’m going to win it for us. It was that simple.” – James, after he hit a game-winning buzzer beater against the Atlanta Hawks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, via Sports Illustrated, Sunday, May 10.

“The same way you slow me down. You can’t.” – James, on how the Cavaliers could stop Warriors star and reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Friday, May 29.

“If you put everything together as far as my mind, my body, my game. If you put everything in one bottle, this is probably the best I’ve been.” – James on how he felt physically and mentally ahead of the 2015 NBA Finals, via ESPN.com, Tuesday, June 2.

“Obviously I’m not getting much sleep. You guys can see I’m not getting much sleep right now, but I’m OK with that. I’m OK with not sleeping to be able to prepare myself and mentally keep myself intact on what’s the main objective for me right now.” – James on his pre-game preparation after Game 3 of the NBA Finals, via the New York Post, Wednesday, June 10.

“I don’t really get involved in it, the whole thing. I understand how important this city is and what I mean to this city and what our team means to this city, but I don’t get caught up in it. I just try to go out and play my game. I try to lead the best way I can, and if I can put my team and my franchise in a position to win the title, I’m grateful for that.” – James on whether he felt the pressure of Cleveland’s decades-long championship drought, via Yahoo Sports, Friday, June 12.

“I feel confident because I’m the best player in the world. It’s that simple.” – James on the Cavaliers’ chances despite their 3-2 series deficit to the Warriors, via ESPN.com, Monday, June 15.

“I wouldn’t feel good about it at all. At the end of the day I’m here to win a team prize, and that’s to win a championship, not an individual prize.” – James on speculation that he could be named 2015 NBA Finals MVP even if the Cavaliers lose, via Ohio.com, Tuesday, June 16.
