“The Legend of Korra” returns on Friday, Oct. 3, though it was not gone all that long. Only a month after the third season of the Nickelodeon anime series ended in late August, Season 4 is set to premiere. The fourth season, like the tail half of the third, will be distributed online on Nickelodeon’s website. A new episode will be made available each week at 12 p.m. EDT on Nick.com.

The premiere episode will be called, “After All These Years,” and will kick off Book Four, which is being called “Balance.” The premiere episode title is a reference to the three year time gap between the third and fourth seasons. Nick recently released the first two minutes of the new season in a sneak peek of the premiere.

The opening sequence gives fans a tour of Republic City in Book Four in the form of an old-timey news reel. It then shows Asami (Seychelle), who apparently has spent the last three years modernizing Republic City. She also has to ward off the advances of the shallow new prince of the city, who seems to have set his sights on taking her out.

Book Four will feature a new villain as well. Kuvira (Zelda Williams), who was introduced towards the end of the last season will raise an army and come after air benders. Will Korra (Janet Varney) be able to stop her before she destroys the whole kingdom?

Season 4 begins on Friday, Oct. 3, but fans can get caught up on the first three seasons on Nick.com where every episode is available for streaming. "The Legend of Korra: Book Four" premiere will become available at 12 p.m. EDT Friday on Nick.com. Click HERE to watch at 12 p.m. EDT on Friday, Oct. 3.
