E3 is fast approaching and the Internet is abuzz with game launch rumors and potential announcements. Most game developers and tech companies choose to remain silent until the big show, but that doesn’t stop curious fans from seeking out leaked data and making their own assumptions.
Recently, a leaked itinerary of the Electronic Entertainment Expo showed up on NeoGAF, giving a detailed schedule on the presentations of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
Under Nintendo’s presentation, which is at the bottom of the page, there’s a new “Zelda” game listed. The alleged latest installment is called “The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare.”
Of course, this document could be just a fake leak with no credibility. But, this would be the first original "Zelda" game for the Wii U since its launch in 2012. In 2013, 2003's "The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker" hit shelves for the Wii U in HD format.
