The "Last Song," Australian actor is featured in the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collin's series "The Hunger Games." The film also stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson and directed by Gary Ross. It may have seemed like for a moment Liam Hemsworth was only known as Miley Cyrus' boyfriend. But, in fact, the young actor has many upcoming projects under his belt! Another film to look forward to is "AWOL" co-staring Austin Stowell and Aimee Teegarden and directed by Danny Mooney. The film is currently filming in Michigan and will be released in 2012. It has been reported that Hemsworth will also be featured in Chuck Russell's 3D film entitled "Arabian Nights," out for release in 2013.

The first installment of "The Hunger Games" series can be seen in theatres March 23, 2012.
