Losing two straight games on their home ice may have spelt doom for the Lightning, so Tampa Bay made sure to put more pressure on Tim Thomas, as they came from behind to beat the Boston Bruins, 5-3, and even the series, 2-2.

The Bruins scored three goals in the first period, but the Lightning stormed back with three goals in the second period.

Left wing Simon Gagne scored the game winner in the third period, as Tampa Bay got the much needed win.

The fifth Tampa Bay goal came from Martin St. Louis in an empty net with under 40 seconds remaining in regulation.

Thomas had 32 saves. Mike Smith and Dwayne Roloson combined for 27 saves. Roloson gave up all three Boston goals.

Patrice Bergeron scored two goals for the Bruins. Teddy Purcell scored twice for the Lightning.

Game Five will be on Sunday at TD Garden.
