As Lindsay Lohan was dealing with legal troubles in Los Angeles on Wednesday, her father and his fiancée welcomed a baby boy into the family.

Michael Lohan’s fiancée, Kate Major, gave birth at a Florida hospital to seven pounds, five ounces Landon Major Lohan on Jan. 30 at 2:39 p.m., TMZ said.

Us Weekly reported that Michael Lohan was present for the labor and birth, and even cut the umbilical cord; a source told the magazine that mother and child are "doing great."

The new parents have received several congratulations, including from Michael Lohan’s former wife, Dina Lohan, Omg! reported. Lindsay Lohan has reportedly not commented on the new baby.

Landon is Michael Lohan’s sixth child and Major’s first; the boy is also Lindsay Lohan’s second half sibling. In November, it was reported that Michael Lohan had fathered a daughter, Ashley Horn, now 17, after having an affair while still married.

His other children include Michael Jr., 25; Ali, 19; and Cody, 16; as well as Lindsay, with Dina Lohan.

Michael and Major have had a somewhat rocky relationship. The couple became engaged in 2010, but broke up soon after, according to Us Weekly. Following reconciliation, the couple announced in July that they were expecting a child.

Major was previously involved with reality TV star Jon Gosselin.
