Lindsay Lohan is out of jail after a paltry four and a half hours spent behind bars.

Lohan checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Cali. at 8:48 p.m. on Nov. 6.

She had been sentenced to spend 30 days behind bars; but, as TMZ reports, it was widely expected that the fallen star would be released after just a few hours.

Indeed, Lohan -- like many stars before her -- enjoyed an abbreviated sentence as a result of overcrowding.

She was released at 1:30 a.m. and left in a black Cadillac Escalade.

The Mean Girls star arrived back at her Venice home by 2:00 a.m.

Lohan actually checked into jail earlier than required -- she had until Nov. 9 to report to the prison.

This is her fifth jail sentence since her first arrest in 2007 for DUI.

In 2007 she was in jail for only 84 minutes before she was released.

On Wed. Nov. 2, L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced Lohan to 30 days in jail for failing to uphold her probation sentence and community service hours.

Lohan was fired from the women's center where she was supposed to perform mandated community service, which was determined to be a violation of the terms of her release, according to CBS News.

The judge said that Lohan will now have to serve 423 mandated hours at a county morgue or she will serve an additional 270 days in jail.

Lohan has been working at the morgue for the past two weeks cleaning bathrooms, washing dirty sheets, and mopping the floors.

She must also undergo psychotherapy sessions, reports USA Today, and has to appear in court monthly from Dec. to March.

The troubled starlet can no longer leave the country and needs explicit permission from her probation officer to leave the state of California.

Lohan's sentence was delayed so should could finish her nude photo shoot with Playboy magazine. This shoot now needs to be redone because Playboy was dissatisfied with the final product.

Lindsay was told the Playboy executives wanted to go in another direction with her shoot so they asked her to come back for a second time, a source told RadarOnline.com.

The first pictures of Lindsay weren't exactly what they wanted so they have a new theme that they want to shoot.
