Lindsay Lohan assured Oprah Winfrey on the latest episode of her OWN docuseries “Lindsay” Sunday night that she is still sober. Unfortunately for fans rooting for Lohan’s permanent recovery following her most recent rehabilitation, the former “Parent Trap” star is rumored to have fallen back into old habits.

According to a report from Radar Online Tuesday, the 27-year-old famously unstable actress has been spending time with old acquaintances this week, former friends that sources say could be threatening to her sober lifestyle. “This is terrible news and so bad for Lindsay’s sobriety,” an "insider" close to the actress told the gossip site.

“It’s a really bad sign,” said the source. “Anyone in recovery knows when you hang around with the same old people that you used with before it will sidetrack you entire life.”

So just who are these troublesome friends? According to the report, they include her pal since 2008, British socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, and Spanish-American contemporary artist Domingo Zapata. For those unfamiliar with the actress’s former crowd, Hervey, known for rocking a sheer gown to the 2014 Golden Globes in January, was last spotted with Lohan walking the streets of New York City on Monday. Lohan was also seen with Zapata (the owner of the Porsche she was accused of using to hit a pedestrian back in 2012) at the Mercer Kitchen in New York the same day.

While Lohan appeared to be getting her life on track, scoring decent ratings for her OWN reality series, sources say rekindling old friendships may harm an important coming film project for her, a role in the drama/thriller “Inconceivable.” “What’s more startling is why would Lindsay risk the opportunity she has to the movie… to hang out with these people?” questioned an insider.

Lohan last made headlines Thursday when Radar Online published claims that she fired her sober coach Michael Cormier, senior counselor at Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center, following the completion of the docuseries, a claim Lohan vehemently denies. “Haven’t seen Michael since filming? Then who is this guy I JUST saw 2 days ago? Sorta ya life,” Lohan tweeted at the tabloid last week alongside an image of herself posing with Cormier.

According to the original Radar report, Lohan hired Cormier to be her 24/7 sober coach but fired him shortly after the show wrapped. “As soon as the cameras were packed up, Lindsay gave Michael the pink slip, and he hasn’t heard from her since,” a source reportedly close to the show’s production asserted.

While it is unclear if Lohan has officially fallen off the wagon, Cormier does hint at some rough waters ahead for the former child star in the promo for “Lindsay” part 4, set to air on OWN this Sunday at 10 p.m. ET. “I’m sober but I’ve been very close. It has come very close and it’s really scary,” Lohan reveals on the promo. When Cormier is prompted by an OWN producer to confirm if the actress’s sobriety is still intact, Cormier responds by shrugging his shoulders, only saying, “You know.”
