Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn was forced to take a drug test while wearing haute couture. The potentially embarrassing event took place at the Council of Fashion Designers Awards, or CFDA, ceremony on Monday in New York City.

Vonn is currently training for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia and attended the elite event with designer Cynthia Rowley.

While wearing a custom-made dress by the designer, Vonn received a call from the International Olympic Committee, the New York Post reports.

She was then met outside by several drug testers and was told she needed to take the test then and there. “Lindsay met the IOC at the bathroom. Cynthia stood guard outside, and no one was allowed to enter the bathroom. They were in there for about five minutes,” a source said.

“Here, Lindsey is in this custom-made gown, feeling like Cinderella, and she has to get up and do a drug test,” the insider continued.

Vonn, 28, is currently dating pro golfer Tiger Woods, who was not at the event. Woods, 37, confirmed his relationship with Vonn on Facebook in March.

"This season has been great so far, and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn,” Woods stated. “Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but, over the last few months, we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”

Woods was previously married to model Elin Nordegren. They divorced in 2010 after Woods admitted to cheating on her with numerous women.

Vonn separated from her husband and former coach, Thomas Vonn, in 2011. The divorce was finalized this year.
