Linsanity and Lundsanity: the hottest faces of New York sports right now? Jeremy Lin and Henrik Lundqvist have given Knicks and Rangers fans plenty to cheer about. (PHOTO: REUTERS / Mike Cassese; Jessica Rinaldi).

Linsanity may have to share the spotlight with Lundsanity, the latest nickname to hit the New York sports scene.

On the same night that Jeremy Lin scored the electrifying game-winning 3-pointer against the Toronto Raptors, New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist shut out the Boston Bruins 3-0, thanks to his 42 saves in the game.

The Rangers are now undefeated in their last four games, placing the team on top of the Atlantic division with 79 points.

Just like Linsanity six games ago, Lundsanity has been dominating Twitter feeds in New York and beyond.

@thenyrangers usually this time of year I'm hoping the rangers can sneak into the 8th playoff spot. Not this year #NYR #Lundsanity, wrote one Rangers fan.

Between LINSANITY and #lundsanity all New York sports fans (myself included) are very happy campers right now, wrote another.

And just like the Lin craze, t-shirts with Lundsanity are already being made to celebrate the Rangers hero.

Hank is the big reason we won . . . he was not going to let a puck in. You could sense that. It was a game where we needed that because we were sloppy. He was absolutely fantastic, Rangers coach John Tortorella told the New York Times after the game.

I went in with mind-set that I have to be sharp and that the guys will take care of the rest, added Lundqvist, who recorded the 42nd shutout of his career with Tuesday's win.

However, it looks like Lundquist will have to earn a few more wins to share the New York newspaper headlines with Lin.

On Wednesday morning, Lin-inspired headlines included the New York Daily News' Just LIN Time and LIN and a Prayer, and New York Post's AMASIAN and ThrilLIN (while a small corner was dedicated to the Rangers' win, with no mention of Lundqvist).
