Former astronaut, Lisa Nowak, was arrested in 2007 for attacking air force engineer Colleen Shipman after her boyfriend left her for Shipman.

At the time Novak was dating astronaut William Oefelein after he dumped her for the other colleague.

Nowak, 46, admits she drove from Texas to Florida to confront Shipman. Prosecutors say she sprayed Shipman with pepper spray in an attempt to kidnap her.

Nowak was received a reduced sentence of one year of probation and 50 hours of community service.
