As many celebrities before her, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Vanderpump Rules” star Lisa Vanderpump admitted that training for “Dancing with the Stars” is no easy ride.

“Oh, my God, I’m covered in [bruises]; I mean, it’s so much harder than I thought it would be,” Vanderpump told Access Hollywood on Friday.

The reality star debuted her first dance on the program with partner and professional dancer Gleb Savchenko last Monday.

“I have to be honest. It should come with a health warning,” she said.

The 52-year-old will be taking the dance floor again on Monday night to perform the jive but admits that the splashy costumes the contestants get to wear can't cover up the inner wounds ballroom dancing generates.

“I look OK on the outside, but inside I’m falling apart,” she said. “We don’t have the routine down. It’s a bit of a rush. I think everybody is struggling. I think I can speak for everybody, because I’ve been talking to the other cast [members]."

The star took tweeted about the pains associated with dancing earlier this month.

“Ok…this is not easy, need Advil, hot bath, early night and a ticket outta here…#hotmess,” she posted.

Before the spring premiere of the show’s 16th season, Vanderpump and Savchenko, who is making his debut alongside Vanderpump, went on Extra with Mario Lopez on March 4 to talk about the pressures of starring in the program.

“I’d always wanted to do it, but it kind of scares me, but I often think things really worth doing are the scariest. They came to me, and I thought, why not? It’s such an opportunity, and it’s such an honor really. First housewife!” she said.

Despite the judges criticism the pair endured Monday night, Vaderpump said she isn’t concerned about the outcome of the competition, which she refers to as the “most gorgeous show on television.”

“It’s kind of intimidating, but you know what? If you land on you’re a** or you screw up, that’s the journey, isn’t it?” she said.
