Macklemore has announced he's not only married, but as of May 29, he is also the father of a baby girl. At noon EDT Wednesday, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis released a brand new song called "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)," which features Ed Sheeran.

The song goes out to his daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, who he recently welcomed with his wife Tricia David, the group's tour manager.

In a statement on the group's website, Macklemore, also known as Ben Haggerty, said, "Our daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty was born 2 months ago on May 29th. There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe. She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her."

Haggerty and Davis married on June 27, according to People. Davis took to Instagram Wednesday to confirm the news, saying, "We had our beautiful baby girl on May 29th… Got married on June 27th once the Supreme Court ruled same sex couples could too… And now new music. Thank you all for being patient, this year has been incredible so far, we love you."

"Growing Up" is not the first official single from the group's new album and follow up to "The Heist," Billboard reports. Instead, it's a "personal moment of expression." The Seattle rapper felt it was the perfect song to reemerge with, according to the group's statement.

"It's where I've been the last year, through all the ups and downs. We didn't want to do a big campaign or anything over the top with this. We just wanted to put out good music, directly to the people that have been here since the beginning. Thank you for your patience. Hope you enjoy," he said.

Sheeran sings the chorus on the song, belting out, "I'll be patient one more month/You'll wrap your fingers around my thumb/Time's are changing, I know/But who I am I if I'm the person you become, if I'm still growing up/I'm still growing up."

The song is available for free download on the group's website and it is also being streamed. Listen to the newest song from Macklemore below:

In October 2012, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis released "The Heist," which was a huge commercial success and went on to become certified platinum after selling over 1.5 million copies in the U.S. The hits "Can't Hold Us," and "Thrift Shop," helped launch their success and earned them Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Rap Song with "Thrift Shop," at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in 2014. "The Heist" was also nominated for Album of the Year.
