RTTNews - Monday, a report by Statistics Lithuania showed that the consumer confidence indicator increased to minus 42 in June from minus 48 in the previous month. A year earlier, the indicator stood at minus 21.

During the month, the index measuring household financial situation over the next 12 months improved to minus 22 from minus 25, while the index measuring the index measuring the country's economic situation over the next one year moved up to minus 30 from minus 42. The index on probability of any savings in the next 12 months increased slightly to minus minus 47 from minus 48 in May.

However, the gauge measuring the number of unemployed in the next one year decreased to 67 from 75 in the preceding month.
