Consumer confidence in Lithuania moved up slightly to minus 50 in April from minus 51 in March, the Statistics Lithuania said in a report Wednesday. A year earlier, in April, the indicator stood at minus 10.
During the month, the index measuring the country's economic situation in the next 12 months edged up to minus 46 from minus 47 in March. At the same time, the index measuring the number of unemployed in the next 12 months time decreased to 77 from 82.
Meanwhile, the gauge measuring the probability of any savings in the next one year fell to minus 50 from minus 46. However, the index measuring the household financial situation in the next 12 months remained unchanged at minus 28.
