RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistics Lithuania said in a report that the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP rose 4.9% year-on-year in May, slower than a 5.9% rise in April.
Annually, prices increased the most for utilities by 17.9%, followed by a 17.3% rise for healthcare. Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco were up 13.4%.
Month-on-month, the HICP fell 0.2% in May compared to a 0.1% drop in April.
